CatchMe is a curated online marketplace for antiques, fine art and rare collectibles, operated from Radomlje, Slovenia, and serving collectors across the European Union.
Who we are
CatchMe operates an auction-driven platform that connects vetted sellers — auction houses and professional dealers — with private and institutional buyers. Our registered office is at Pelechova c. 11, 1235 Radomlje, Slovenia. We act exclusively as an intermediary providing the digital infrastructure, KYC/AML compliance and logistics coordination required to move high-value cultural goods safely.
What we do
Every seller on CatchMe is screened. Professional dealers and intermediaries must register an Art Market Participant (AMP) number under EU anti-money-laundering rules before they can list. Each lot is reviewed for authenticity, provenance and condition before going live.
Where appropriate, our specialists rely on objective methods — UV fluorescence inspection, analysis of construction techniques (for example hand-cut dovetail joinery) and XRF spectrometry to confirm metal alloys — alongside expert opinion. Condition reports are written by experienced cataloguers, not by professional conservators or engineers, and are clearly labelled as such.
How we protect collectors
All payments are held in escrow until the buyer confirms the lot has arrived as described. Class 2 valuables (antiques, fine art and collectibles) are shipped exclusively through specialist carriers that accept full liability — never through standard couriers — and are insured up to €50,000 per parcel, including restoration costs and loss of market value after partial damage.
Jurisdiction
CatchMe operates under the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
